New quartet launched!

This winter, a new quartet around trumpeter Teus Nobel will record a jazzalbum, called Child’s Play. These compositions were all inspired by his children Bix (6) and Charlie (3), who pulled the family through during a family crisis, by just being their wonderful selves.

The album will be released in September 2026, simultaneously with a documentary about this traumatic period. In several venues, the releaseconcert will be a combination of the display of the doc + a live concert.

Teus Nobel 4 | Child’s Play consists of Teus Nobel on trumpet, Teis Semey (DK) on guitar, Jasper Hoiby (DK) on double bass and Niek de Bruijn (NL) on drums.
