Op vrijdag 30 mei zal het Orkest Koninklijke Luchtmacht een concert verzorgen op het grote buitenpodium (nabij KMA) van Breda Jazz Festival 2014. Bijzonder aan dit concert is het feit dat de repertoire keuze gekozen is door twee solisten van dit orkest, saxofonist Thijs van Otterloo en ikzelf! Naast bekende orkest- en bigband-arrangementen zullen ook bewerkingen voor deze bezetting van onze eigen composities voorbij komen, voornamelijk toegespitst op de albums “Miles Away” (v. Otterloo) en “Flow” (yours truly). Bekende arrangeurs als Rob Horsting, Ilja Reijngoud en Steven Dietvorst worden ingezet om hier iets te geks van te maken!

Ben erg trots te kunnen vermelden dat ik Adams Brass Artist ben geworden! De afgelopen 6 maanden hebben we mijn A1 Custom model helemaal ge-finetuned tot een absoluut topinstrument. Check it out!

Andere bekende Adams Brass Artists zijn (onder anderen) Scott Wendholt, Patches Stewart, Christian Scott, Amik Guerra, Frank Greene en Dontae Winslow.

Very proud to appear in the new Kyteman Orchestra videoclip “Mushroom Cloud”. The biggest part of the video shoot took place in the middle of the night, we had great fun making it!

Very happy with the article (dutch) below in this months Jazzism, the biggest jazz magazine of the Netherlands.

We released our second single WATER RESIST yesterday! Our loyal friends at Wicked Jazz Sounds (Radio 6) were given the honor of the first airplay, but soon you will hear it on any Radio 6 show and other jazz-minded radio stations.
The track contains a funky afro-beat groove and features dutch tenor sax hero Tom Beek. It’s available as single on iTunes now!

So whatcha waiting for, go for it!!

The iTunes bug that suddenly appeared last week at our FLOW album track “Gut Feeling” has been fixed!
